SSR (Medical) 02/2027 Batch  

  • Qualified in 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (PCB) from the Boards of School Education recognised by Ministry of Education, Govt. of India with 50% (Fifty)  marks in aggregate and minimum (Forty) 40%in each subject. 
  • Note: Candidates who are appearing in class 12th Board Exam of academic year 2025-26 are also eligible to apply provided they fulfill all other eligibility criteria. 

Marital Status: 

  • Only unmarried Indian male Applicants are eligible. 
  • Candidates should be born between 01 May 2005 – 31 Oct 2009 (Both dates inclusive).
  • Note:- Candidates born between 01 May 2005 – 31 Oct 2009 are eligible to apply for INET 2026

A monthly stipend of Rs. 14,600 will be accepted throughout the first training term. They will be put in Level 3 of the Defence Pay Matrix (Rs. 21,700 to 69,100) after completing the basic course successfully. They would also receive DA (where applicable) in addition to MSP at a monthly rate of Rs. 5200.

  • Stage – I (INET – Indian Navy Entrance Test) 
  • Stage – II (PFT, Written Test and Recruitment Medical) 

PREPARATION TIPS:

First Understand the Exam Pattern

The recruitment happens mainly in two stages.

Stage-1: INET Written Exam

  • 100 Questions – 100 Marks
  • Duration: 1 hour
  • Subjects: English, Science, Biology, General Awareness
  • Negative marking: –0.25 for wrong answers

Stage-2

  • Physical Fitness Test (PFT)
  • Written/medical checks
  • Document verification

Physical standards

  • Height: 157 cm
  • 1.6 km run: 6 min 30 sec
  • 20 squats
  • 15 push-ups
  • 15 sit-ups

Best Preparation Strategy

1️⃣ Focus mainly on PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology)

Because the post is Medical Assistant, Biology + Science questions are very important.

How to prepare

  • Read NCERT class 11 & 12 Biology fully.
  • Study these topics carefully:
    • Human Physiology
    • Cell biology
    • Genetics
    • Basic chemistry
    • Basic physics (electricity, motion, waves)
