Educational Qualification
- Senior Project Associate: M.E./M.Tech in Manufacturing, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with two years of R&D experience.
- Project Associate-II – Corrosion Assessment: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Materials Science with two years of R&D experience. Experience in corrosion assessment of metallic materials, particularly marine corrosion assessment, is desirable.
- Project Associate-II – Electrochemical Energy Storage: M.Sc. in Chemistry, Electrochemistry or Materials Chemistry with two years of R&D experience. Research exposure in carbon materials, biomass-derived materials, lithium-ion/sodium-ion battery materials or electrochemical energy-storage systems is desirable.
- Project Associate-II – Chemistry: M.Sc. in Chemistry with two years of R&D experience.
- Project Associate-II – Mathematics / Computer Science: M.Sc. in Mathematics or Computer Science with two years of R&D experience. Additional experience in digital content development, web or graphic design, multimedia, animation and related software tools is desirable. The notification also mentions JavaScript, GitLab and experience in government skill-development training or the JIGYASA programme.
- Project Associate-I – Chemistry: M.Sc. in Chemistry.
- Project Associate-I – Chemistry / Battery Research: M.Sc. in Chemistry. Experience in lithium-ion or sodium-ion battery fabrication is desirable for the relevant position.
- Project Associate-I – Chemistry / Physics: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Physics. Experience in lithium-ion batteries and testing is desirable.
- Project Associate-I – Marine Biology: M.Sc. in Marine Biology. Experience in seaweed research and proficiency in scuba diving are desirable.
- Project Associate-I – Engineering: B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Biotechnology or Nanotechnology.
- Project Associate-I – Chemistry / Biotechnology: M.Sc. in Chemistry or Biotechnology.
- Project Assistant-II: B.Sc. in Chemistry.
Age Limit
- Senior Project Associate: Maximum 40 years
- Project Associate-II: Maximum 35 years
- Project Associate-I: Maximum 35 years
- Project Assistant-II: Maximum 35 years

Pay Scale Details
- Senior Project Associate: ₹42,000 + HRA
- Project Associate-II: ₹28,000 + HRA
