Educational Qualification
Apprentice: Candidates must possess a Graduate Degree in any discipline from a recognized University or an equivalent qualification recognized by the Central Government.
- Graduation must have been completed on or after 01 April 2022.
- The final result must have been declared on or before 01 November 2026.
- Candidates must provide valid proof of their graduation result declaration.
- Applicants must register on the NATS 2.0 portal before applying to Indian Bank.
Important Notes: Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026
- Only candidates with a 100% completed profile on the NATS 2.0 portal are eligible to apply.
- A candidate can apply for only one State/UT and must submit only one application.
- Candidates who have already undergone apprenticeship training or have one year or more of job experience after completing their educational qualification are not eligible.
- Applicants must be proficient in the local language of the State/UT selected. For Tamil Nadu, the required local language is Tamil.
- Apprenticeship training does not guarantee permanent employment in Indian Bank.

Preparation Tips for Indian Bank Apprentice Recruitment 2026
Prepare for Local Language Test: Practise reading, writing, speaking and understanding the local language of your selected state. For Tamil Nadu vacancies, prepare Tamil language proficiency.
Reasoning Ability: Practise puzzles, seating arrangements, blood relations, coding-decoding, syllogisms and direction-based questions.
Quantitative Aptitude: Focus on simplification, percentage, profit and loss, ratio, averages, time and work, number series and data interpretation.
English Language: Improve grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, sentence correction, cloze tests and error spotting.
Computer Knowledge: Study basic computer fundamentals, MS Office, internet, networking, operating systems and computer security.
General Awareness (Banking): Prepare current affairs, banking terminology, RBI functions, financial awareness, Indian banking history and important government schemes.
Practise Mock Tests: Attempt full-length online mock tests within the 60-minute exam duration. Practise previous banking examination questions to improve speed and accuracy.
