  1. Panchakarma (Ayurveda) Assistant – Male – Pass in HSC and Panchakarma Therapy Course of duration 01 year/02 years (or) Diploma Holders in Nursing Therapy (or) Diploma Holders in Panchakarma Therapy of Duration 2 years or more accredited by State / Central Government.
  2. Panchakarma (Ayurveda) Assistant – Female – Pass in HSC and Panchakarma Therapy Course of duration 01 year/02 years (or) Diploma Holders in Nursing Therapy (or) Diploma Holders in Panchakarma Therapy of Duration 2 years or more accredited by State / Central Government.

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

  • For SC/ ST Applicants: +5 years
  • For OBC Applicants: +3 years 
  • For PwBD (Gen) Applicants: +10 years 
  • For PwBD (SC/ ST) Applicants: +15 years 
  • For PwBD (OBC) Applicants: +13 years 
  • For Ex-Servicemen Applicants: As per Govt. Policy
  • Panchakarma (Ayurveda) Assistant – Male – Rs.25,000/-
  • Panchakarma (Ayurveda) Assistant – Female – Rs.25,000/-

PREPARATION TIPS :

Exam Pattern

The recruitment has only one written test.

  • Total Questions: 50
  • Marks: 50 (1 mark each)
  • Duration: 90 minutes
  • Type: Objective MCQ
  • Negative Marking: No negative marks

👉 Selection will be based on merit in the written test, followed by document verification and medical check.

  • Oil massage (Abhyanga)
  • Steam therapy (Swedana)
  • Shirodhara
  • Pizhichil
  • Kizhi
  • Patient preparation
  • Post-treatment care

D. Basic Human Anatomy & Physiology

Basic understanding of:

  • Nervous system
  • Blood circulation
  • Muscles and joints
  • Digestive system

This exam is not as competitive as UPSC or TNPSC because:
