  1. Trade Apprentices – ITI Pass Certificate in respective Trade 
  2. Diploma Apprentices – Diploma Pass Certificate in engineering or technology in respective Discipline. 
  3. Graduate Apprentices – Graduate Degree in nonengineering streams or general streams such as BA, B.Sc., B.Com., etc. including sandwich courses granted by a College / University Recognized by AICTE/ UGC/State Government/ Central Government. 

Note: Only those candidates who have passed Diploma/Graduate degree qualifying examination within 5 years in respect of the last date of submission of application i.e. 30/06/2026 are eligible to apply on National Apprenticeship Training Scheme 2.0(NATS 2.0) portal.

  1. Trade Apprentices – Minimum age 18 years and maximum 24 years
  2. Diploma Apprentices – Minimum age 18 years and maximum 25 years 
  3. Graduate Apprentices – Minimum age 21 years and maximum 28 years

Relaxation of Upper age limit: 

  • +5 Years for ST/SC  
  • +3 Years for OBC (NCL)  
  • Persons with Disabilities candidate:
    • +10 Years for UR  
    • +13 Years for OBC (NCL)  
    • +15 Years for ST/SC
  1. Trade Apprentices – Rs.9,600/-
  2. Diploma Apprentices – Rs.10,560/- 
  3. Graduate Apprentices – Rs.10,900/-

1. Maximize Your Merit Position

Trade Apprentice (ITI)

Selection is generally based on:

  • ITI marks
  • Eligibility compliance
  • Document verification

High ITI percentage = better chance.

Diploma Apprentice

Selection depends on:

  • Diploma aggregate marks
  • Relevant discipline

Graduate Apprentice

Selection depends on:

  • Degree marks
  • Relevant stream eligibility

  • The candidates meeting the prescribed eligibility criteria may download the application form enclosed as Annexure-1 from www.npcil.nic.in / HR Management / Opportunities. Before applying the candidate should ensure his/her eligibility for apprentice training.
