Selection Process for Indian Coast Guard Recruitment 2026
1. Scrutiny of Applications: Applications received are checked for eligibility, correct documentation, and prescribed formats. Shortlisted candidates are then issued admit cards.
2. Document Verification: Shortlisted candidates must undergo document verification prior to the written examination, bringing all original documents and self-attested photocopies.
3. Biometric Verification: Thumb impressions and photographs are captured during initial document verification to verify identity throughout all stages of recruitment and final joining.
4. Written Examination: A pen-and-paper-based objective test of 1 hour duration consisting of 80 bilingual questions (1 mark per correct answer with no negative marking).

- 2. Gather Self-Attested Photocopies: Attach self-attested photocopies (with your name and date) of the following mandatory documents:

- Matriculation or equivalent marksheet and certificate
- Higher qualification marksheet and certificate (12th/UG/PG/Diploma) as per essential eligibility
