For CSIR-NPL Technician posts, technical trade knowledge usually carries the highest weightage. Spend approximately:

  • Payment Mode: Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- (Five Hundred Rupees only) as application fee wherever applicable in favour of the Director, National Physical Laboratory, payable at New Delhi. Personal details (i.e., name & post code) should be mentioned on the back of the Demand Draft

Candidates should download the application form from the official NPL website at www.nplindia.in. The completed application must be accompanied by self-attested copies of all required documents, including mark sheets, certificates, and testimonials verifying age, 
 education
, experience, and caste status where applicable. A recent, self-signed passport-sized photograph must be attached to the form. Applicants currently holding permanent positions in Central or State Government, PSUs, or autonomous bodies must also include the employer endorsement as specified in the application format. If an application fee is required, it must be paid as a Rs. 500/- (Rupees five hundred only) crossed Demand Draft or Pay Order. This should be drawn from a nationalized bank, remain valid for at least three months, and be made in favor of the “Director, National Physical Laboratory,” payable at New Delhi. The entire application packet should be mailed in an envelope marked “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF TECHNICIAN(1) – (Post Code No.____)” to the Senior Controller of Administration, CSIR-National Physical Laboratory, Dr. K.S. Krishnan Marg, New Delhi-110012, to be received by 30.06.2026
