Educational Qualification for TN Cooperative Bank:

Qualification (10+2+3 / 4 pattern) 

  • A graduate Degree in any Discipline of any University or Institution recognised by University Grant Commission OR
  • Bachelor of Engineering / Technology Degree in – Computer Science or Information Technology or Electronics & Communication or equivalent recognized by AICTE from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Law from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission OR
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission OR
  • Bachelor of Engineering / Technology Degree in Civil or Electrical or equivalent recognized by AICTE from any University or Institution recognized by the University Grants Commission and
  • Must have completed or currently be undergoing Cooperative Training and possess knowledge in Computer Application

Preference will be given to candidates with Cooperative Training. 

  • Diploma in Cooperative Management Conducted through Cooperative Training Institutes operating under the Tamil Nadu Cooperative Department.
  • Higher Diploma in Cooperative Management Conducted through the Chennai Natesan Cooperative Management Institute and Madurai Cooperative Management Institute.
  • Candidates who have completed the following degree courses are exempted from undergoing Cooperative Training:
    • Bachelor’s Degree in Cooperation offered by the National Council for Cooperative Training (NCCT) and the universities affiliated to it. 
    • B.Com (Honours) Cooperation.
    • M.Com (Cooperation). 
    • M.A (Cooperation). 
    • Any degree course approved by the University Grants Commission (UGC) in which Cooperation is offered as a major subject. Examples: B.A (Cooperation) B.Com (Cooperation).
  • Degrees course (e.g., Book Keeping, Banking, Cooperation, Auditing) and have passed the subject examinations, shall also be considered as having completed Cooperative Training. If these subjects have not been studied, the candidate cannot be considered as having completed Cooperative Training.
  • For Open Category Candidates – Minimum 18 years, Maximum 32 Years 
  • For SC/ ST/ SC(A)/ BC / BCM / MBC and DNC Candidates – Minimum 18 years, No Maximum Age Limit
  • For OC (PWBD) Applicants  – Minimum 18 years, Maximum 42 Years
  • For SC/ ST/ SC(A)/ BC / BCM / MBC and DNC (PWBD) Applicants  – Minimum 18 years, No Maximum Age Limit
